Public invited to support sustainability projects as part of The Platinum Jubilee Pageant

We’re thrilled to be working with The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant with a new website which lets you choose your favourite sustainability initiative.

Launching today, you can find out more about three fantastic projects that align with the sustainability and legacy goals of the Pageant, and choose your favourite. Each project will then gain support both from public contributions and from the Platinum Jubilee Pageant when selection period closes.

Here’s a sneak peek at the three projects that are vying for support:

  • The Save Me Trust: this conservation charity, established by Queen guitarist Brian May and conservationist Anne Brummer, targets specialist support to re-establish and maintain hedgehog and wildlife populations; and supports a life-saving wildlife hospital and creates biodiverse habitats for native flora and fauna.

  • The Queen’s Green Canopy: this one is all about trees, created to mark The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, and encouraging individuals and organisations from across the UK to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”.

  • Wheels for Wellbeing: supporting disabled people of all ages and abilities to gain access to cycling, this award-winning charity works to change attitudes, remove barriers and transform lives.

So here’s how it works. Visit www.pinwheel.earth/platinumpageant to find out more about each project. Choose the project you feel most passionate about. Click to influence the support provided to each charitable project. Support each project directly and learn more.
